Message

By the virtue of the blessings of Supreme Power and good wishes of you all, I feel immense pleasure to share that I have taken over the charge of Vice Chancellor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, U.P., Lucknow. My every endeavour for this university will be dedicated towards advancement of knowledge and educate our students in science, technology, and other distinguish areas of scholarship that will best serve the community, society, nation and the world in the 21st century at large. To cater the educational needs of the students and society the university will be committed to generate, disseminate, and preserve knowledge, write working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the country’s great challenges. It will be dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of diverse stakeholders.

Being a head worker of the university I will be looking forward to develop in each member of the APJAKTU community the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of humankind. Any institute of higher education should be known by its research activities. My prime priority will be to promote research activities at APJAKTU which aims to develop innovative solutions to the community’s most daunting challenges. By addressing the most challenging needs of every quarter of our life, APJAKTU’s research efforts will be fostered on the module of creative collaborations with leading research institutes and consortia across the country and around the world. By creating a good ambience of research and academics it would be a place of extraordinary interactions. Definitely, it would be very much helpful in illuminating ideas and fostering intellectual breakthroughs. In addition to, my priorities are quality enhancements in science and technical education offered by institutions affiliated to APJAKTU and facilitating and intensive efforts to nurture good faculty.

The journey to excellence and quality is a continuous and rigorous process. It involves participation of everyone wholeheartedly in a shared mission of excellence and learner centred orientation in our approaches and processes. I am in the process of identifying improvement agenda and a roadmap to enhance quality and improve students’ satisfaction, community satisfaction and employees’ satisfaction by improving quality of all academic processes, research endeavour and organisational climate. I need whole wholehearted support of each one of you in this noble mission. Your continuous feedback will be very much supportive in creating brand in the field of technical education and ultimately in the development of the country.
